RIDE + Stride is on Saturday 11th September from 10am to 6pm
We are looking for participants and SPONSORS please. Participants either walk or cycle between Kent Churches. Details can be obtained from Mrs Sandra Dreyer or the poster displayed in the porch.
Mrs Yo Reynolds and Mrs Felicity Robinson have kindly agreed to participate on behalf of our church in the Ride and Stride and cycle from church to church on Saturday 11th September. If you are able to sponsor her, please sign the sponsor form on the table at the side of the church which will be available after each service. Alternatively, you may contact Ali Jones on 01580 755705 and she will add your name to the list of sponsors.
HYMNS & PIMMS on Saturday 4th September from 3.30 to 4.30
Come and sing your favourite hymns for an hour, followed by a drink of Pimms and a chat.
Retire a Hymn for a Year
Charlotte, our organist is running a silent auction for you to ‘retire’ your least favourite hymn from the church repertoire. This will be for a year! If you would like to join in, please leave an envelope on the grand piano nearest to the organ, containing the name of your least favourite hymn, your name and the amount you are prepared to pay for the privilege of retiring this hymn.
BABYCCINO CAFE starts every Thursday from September 16th between 9.30am and 11.30 am.
All details are on the yellow fliers on the table at the back of the church. Please distribute the fliers to neighbours, relatives and friends who may be interested in joining us.
Food for Families
On Wednesday 1st September at 11.30am there will be a training for volunteers. This will be held in the Baptist Church Hall. Please bring your lunch with you. If you would like more information or wish to become a volunteer please let Jane Cooper know on 01580 753741. If the number of volunteers can be increased, small teams can be created and this will reduce the workload.
