In reaching out into the community St Laurence Church has been working with the local History Society. The Hawkhurst History Society has permission to use the  North Parvis to archive a wealth of information about the village. They have funded several improvements to the parvis and we are grateful to them for this as well of the skilled local craftsmen and tradespeople who have undertaken the work.

With the wealth of information accessible we look forward to have joint ventures, such as the exhibition for VE day and we look forward to many future events.
