A picnic lunch made by the Social Committee on the 65th anniversary of the re-dedication of St Laurence Church after it was bombed. A lunch held in St Laurence Church for local Ukranian residents of Hawkhurst.

The larger group is of the candidates who were confirmed at St Laurence last Saturday (22nd January) by Bishop Rose. The parishes of Cranbrook, Hawkhurst, Frittenden & Sissinghurst, Headcorn and the Suttons, Marden and Staplehurst are represented. The other photo is of the six candidates from Hawkhurst who were confirmed.

Yesterday was the Feast of the Epiphany when the 3 Kings arrived to see Jesus. The children made crowns and candles were lit around each pillar. The children carried the 3 Kings to the crib and they were placed beside it.
